What is Dance Insight?
Dance Insight is a web app that helps dancers practice and improve. You save your practice clips, play them back at any speed, see the music’s beat and counts, and get AI analysis of movements like turns and jumps.
How does the AI movement analysis work?
Dance Insight automatically detects movements such as turns and jumps in your video and draws a pose overlay that traces your body, so you can review your lines, timing, and form objectively.
Which dance styles does it support?
It works across many styles — including ballet, jazz, contemporary, hip-hop, and acro — because it analyzes body movement rather than a specific genre.
How much does Dance Insight cost?
There is a free plan to try the core features, and a Pro plan that unlocks everything with unlimited use. New plans are coming soon.
What devices and video files do I need?
Dance Insight runs in a web browser on desktop, laptop, or tablet (Chrome, Edge, or Safari) with nothing to install. You can upload MP4, MOV, or M4V files up to 700 MB each. Mobile apps are on the way.
Is my practice video private?
Your clips stay in your own library and are used to provide the analysis. See our Privacy Policy for how your data is handled.
